🔒 Privacy Policy
Effective Date: August 24, 2026
Last Updated: August 24, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Lupin ("Bot", "Service", "we", "us", or "our"), operated by Oryzen Labs, collects, uses, stores, and protects data when you use the Bot across Discord servers.
We value your privacy and are committed to processing only the minimum data necessary to provide reliable bot functionality.
1. Information We Collect
To deliver core features (moderation, leveling, virtual economy, ticket logging, and anti-scam protection), Lupin processes the following categories of data:
A. Discord Identifiers
- User IDs & Usernames: To track economy balances, leveling XP, warnings, notes, and permissions.
- Guild (Server) IDs & Channel IDs: To store server configurations, logging channels, verification roles, and ticket categories.
- Role IDs: To manage autoroles, level rewards, and verification assignment.
B. Functional & Operational Data
- Moderation Logs & Case History: Case IDs, action types (ban, kick, warn, timeout), target user IDs, moderator IDs, and reason strings.
- Leveling & Economy Records: Total XP, current level, wallet balance, bank balance, and inventory items.
- Ticket Transcripts: Saved only when ticket logging is explicitly configured and triggered by server staff.
- Anti-Scam Threat Metadata: Domain names and strike counts associated with scam link detections.
We Do NOT Collect
- We do not collect passwords, personal real names, physical addresses, IP addresses, credit card numbers, or real-world financial data.
- We do not record voice audio in voice channels.
2. How We Use Collected Data
Collected data is used strictly to:
- Provide and maintain bot functionality (e.g., balance updates, leaderboard calculations, automated voice room generation).
- Execute server moderation rules and logging configured by server administrators.
- Protect Discord communities by screening suspicious links against known scam blacklists and security AI threat models.
- Improve bot stability, diagnose bugs, and ensure fair gameplay.
3. 3-Layer Security AI Scanning
- When messages contain URLs or suspicious text, Lupin's 3-Layer Security pipeline evaluates the content in real time against domain blacklists, the VirusTotal API, and the dedicated Security-Guard AI service.
- Message content evaluated for security threats is processed transiently in memory and is not stored permanently unless flagged for audit logging.
4. Data Sharing & Third Parties
- We NEVER sell, rent, or trade user data to third parties or advertisers.
- Data is only shared with third-party service providers essential for bot infrastructure:
- Database Hosting: Secure PostgreSQL instances for persistent storage.
- Threat Intelligence: VirusTotal API & Security AI Service for real-time security scanning.
- Hosting / CDN: Cloudflare Pages for official documentation hosting.
5. Data Retention & Deletion Rights
- Data Retention: Guild-specific settings and user statistics persist as long as the Bot remains in the server or until explicit deletion.
- User Data Deletion:
- Server administrators can execute
/wipedatato purge guild-specific records. - Users may request the deletion of their personal data (XP, economy, notes) by contacting us on our Support Server or opening a GitHub issue.

6. Security Safeguards
We implement industry-standard security measures including:
- PostgreSQL SSL/TLS encryption for database communication.
- Strict per-guild namespace isolation preventing cross-server data exposure.
- Environment variable protection and token masking for all sensitive API keys.
7. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect new features or regulatory requirements. Any material changes will be documented on this page with an updated revision date.
